The short version: this website has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies. If you join the stamp card we store your first name and mobile number so we can give you stamps. We don’t send marketing. You can delete your card and data yourself at any time.
Notice version 2026-11. Last updated 2 November 2026.
Who we are
Snipzmcr, trading as Snipz, 431 Wilmslow Road, Withington, Manchester M20 4AF. We are the “data controller” for the information described below.
Questions or data requests (to see, correct or delete your data): call us on 07597 788886, message us on WhatsApp (07597 788886), or ask in the shop.
Website developer: this website and stamp card were built, and are maintained, by Nakhla Studio on our behalf. For technical questions about the website you can contact them at hello@nakhlastudio.com.
This website
We don’t use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or any other tracking or advertising tools, so there is no cookie banner to click through. Our website host, Cloudflare, keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for a short time to keep the site secure and running.
The stamp card
If you create a stamp card, this is what we store and why:
| Information | Why | How it’s stored |
|---|---|---|
| First name | So your barber can find and greet you | As you typed it |
| Mobile number | To recognise you and stop duplicate cards | Scrambled with a secret key (we can match a number you give us, but can’t read the list back). We also keep the last 4 digits so staff can find you. |
| 4-digit PIN | So only you can open your card on another phone | Scrambled, never stored as typed |
| Stamps, rewards, dates | To run the scheme and prevent misuse (one stamp per visit) | Linked to your card |
| Activity log | To check stamps and rewards were given fairly: which team member, what, and when | Stores your card code only, never your name or number. Entries are anonymised when your card is deleted. |
| Consent record | To show you agreed to this notice | Date and notice version |
Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you tick the box to create a card. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting your card. We never use these details for marketing, we never sell them, and we don’t share them with anyone except the service providers below.
The stamp card is for people aged 13 and over. If you’re younger, please ask a parent or guardian to set it up with you.
Photos of cuts
Our barbers sometimes add a photo of a finished cut to the “fresh cuts” section of this website. We only do this when the client has said they’re happy for it to be shown, and we don’t add names. If you’d like a photo of you taken down, ask any team member or call us and we’ll delete it. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Cookies and on-device storage
- No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
- Your stamp card keeps a random sign-in key and a copy of your last card view in your browser’s storage on your device. This is strictly necessary for the card to work and to show it offline. Signing out or deleting your card clears it.
- Staff area: a security cookie is used only when team members sign in. Visitors never receive it.
- Map: the map only loads if you press “Load interactive map”. Google then provides the map and may set its own cookies, under Google’s privacy policy.
- Other sites: Booksy (online booking), Instagram and Google Maps are separate services with their own privacy policies. Booking happens on Booksy, not on this site.
Who processes your data
The website, stamp card database and photos are hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., which acts as our service provider; the stamp card database is stored in the European Union. Nakhla Studio maintains the website for us and may access the system only to support it. Data may be processed outside the UK under appropriate safeguards. No one else receives your stamp card data.
How long we keep it
Until you delete your card, or until 24 months after your last stamp (or sign-up if you never collected one), when it is erased. Whichever comes first.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to withdraw consent, at any time. The quickest way to delete everything is the “Delete my card & data” button on your stamp card page. Or ask any team member in the shop. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
If we change this notice we’ll update the version and date above.
